How do you pay fitting tribute to a guitar? To our M-32 CP—an instrument that, for decades, has embodied Lakewood’s characteristic sound and its understated yet refined aesthetics like almost no other? You add the word “Premium”, give it a few carefully chosen extras and place a few more cherries on top of this already exquisite creation. For the top, we selected a particularly special piece of thermo-treated spruce. This gives the guitar a sound that is immediately a little rounder, more open and fully developed. Fine bindings made from smoked oak, combined with a maple purfling strip, frame the headstock on both the front and back as well as the fingerboard. The armrest elegantly connects the top on the bass side with the guitar’s side, making the instrument even more comfortable to play. At the same time, it is an exceptionally demanding handcrafted detail whose precise execution reflects the skill and experience of our guitar makers.
