Storage of data for invoicing purposes (contract fulfillment)
For the fulfillment of orders and subsequent invoicing, we store customer data in business documents such as order confirmations, delivery notes, and invoices, while complying with statutory retention periods.
Our primary customers are commercial traders (musical instrument dealers), but in the case of accessories and merchandise also individual end consumers.
An end consumer is defined here as anyone purchasing a product for personal use once or in small quantities.
For business customers, we maintain customer records linked to specific customer numbers and store their data permanently, or at least for the periods required by statutory retention obligations.
End consumers are not maintained in permanent customer records; we do not store their data permanently in our ERP system, but only during invoicing in accounting documents (invoices, delivery notes, etc.).
The basis for this data processing is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (processing for the performance of a contract).
Storage of data for other contract processing purposes
For the fulfillment of repair orders, we store personal data of end consumers in our IT system.
These data remain permanently stored for the purpose of service improvement (e.g. for faster processing or the creation/provision of a repair history).
The guitars themselves are not required to consent to the storage of their serial number.
No such data will be passed on to third parties.
The basis for this storage is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (processing for the performance of a contract at the request of the data subject).
You may subsequently (after performance of the contract) request the deletion of your personal data at any time by e-mail or in writing to the data protection contact addresses mentioned.
