Lakewood Summer Festival – Two Days of Music & Workshop Atmosphere
Back to Overview
On both days we will open our workshop and the entire Lakewood premises to visitors. A special atmosphere awaits you between the wood storage, the workshop and finished instruments – right where our guitars are built.
Throughout the day we offer hourly guided workshop tours, where you can take a look behind the scenes of our guitar building. Our Lakewood showroom will also be open, where you can try out guitars at your leisure, receive personal advice and of course purchase instruments or accessories.
Naturally, there will also be plenty of opportunities to play and explore the guitars yourself. Take your time, discover different models and dive a little deeper into the Lakewood world.
Food & drinks will also be provided throughout the day and are included free of charge for visitors holding concert tickets.
In addition to the open workshop program, two very special evening events will take place in our workshop.
On Friday evening (May 29) we present a Leonard Cohen Tribute Concert with Rolf Ableiter and his band. Together they bring the timeless songs of the great Canadian songwriter to life in interpretations that are both sensitive and powerful. The intimate atmosphere of our workshop provides a truly unique concert setting.
On Saturday evening (May 30) an evening awaits that combines humor and music in a wonderful way. The evening begins with cabaret artist and musician Tobias Mann, who delights audiences with razor-sharp wit, musical interludes and an energetic stage presence. After a short break, the evening continues with multi-instrumentalist Charly Klauser, whose impressive musical versatility and joy of performing provide a wonderful concert finale.
Whether it is guided workshop tours, trying out guitars, conversations with fellow music enthusiasts or a special concert evening – our summer festival offers many wonderful opportunities to experience the Lakewood world up close.
We very much look forward to welcoming you on May 29 and/or May 30, 2026.
Even if you are not purchasing a ticket for one of the evening concerts, we kindly ask you to register in advance, as this greatly helps us with our planning. Thank you!
